Privacy settings live in Settings > Profile. Use them to control what other people can see on your academy profile and who can access your recorded meetings and AI reports by default.
Privacy settings control access to recordings and reports. They do not decide which meetings the AI Coach Bot records. To change which meetings get recorded, use AI Coach Bot recording preferences.

Change default meeting access

Default meeting access sets the access level for new recorded meetings and AI reports before you share anything directly.
1

Open your profile settings

2

Find the Privacy section

Scroll to Privacy, then find Default meeting access.
3

Choose an access level

Open the dropdown and choose People in your company or Private by default.
4

Choose whether to update past meetings

When prompted, choose Future meetings only to keep existing reports unchanged, or Update existing meetings too to apply the new access level to your existing recorded meetings and AI reports.

Default meeting access options

OptionWhat it means
People in your companyPeople in your company can access your recorded meetings and AI reports. Use this when reports should be available for team review, coaching, and shared company workflows.
Private by defaultOnly you and people you directly share a meeting or report with can access it. Use this for sensitive calls or when you want to decide access report by report.
Choosing People in your company does not create a public link. Link access is controlled separately from Share. Changing the default affects future meetings immediately. Existing reports only change if you choose Update existing meetings too.

Other privacy options

The Privacy section also includes academy profile settings. These are separate from meeting and report access.
SettingWhat it controls
Allow others to see my academy profileLets other users access your academy profile, including performance and areas of knowledge.
Display my consistency calendarLets other users see your consistency calendar on your academy profile.
Turning these options off does not make your recorded meetings private. Use Default meeting access for recorded meetings and AI reports.

Company controls

Company admins control whether each role can set their own meetings private. Admins manage this in Settings > People & Teams > Permissions with the Set Own Calls Private permission. When this permission is enabled for your role, you can:
  • Change Default meeting access in your profile settings.
  • Change People in your company access on a specific report you own.
When this permission is disabled for your role, Triple Session shows a message in the Privacy section: Your admin controls whether you can make your own calls private. The dropdown remains visible, but you cannot change it.
If you need to make calls private and the dropdown is locked, ask a company admin to review the Set Own Calls Private permission for your role.

Report-level sharing

The profile setting is only the default. You can still change access on an individual report when you share it. On a report, click Share to add specific people by email, change whether People in your company can view it, or enable link access when appropriate.
Only the report owner can change People in your company access for that report. Your company must also allow your role to set your own calls private.

Limitations

  • The setting controls access after a meeting or report exists. It does not start or stop recordings.
  • Future meetings only does not update old reports.
  • Explicit sharing can grant access to specific people even when your default is private.
  • Company admins can remove your ability to change this setting.
  • Private meetings are not treated as company-shared material for company-wide AI Coach insights, company-wide search results, CRM updates, and automations that depend on shared company access.
